Whether it is to create a new floor or to install a new garden shed, a screed will be necessary to ensure an optimal base for your construction. It is advisable to call on an experienced mason to ensure the sustainability of the project.

Cement screeds

Adherent Screeds

Adherent cementitious screeds used as a finished floor can only be used for the low load group. Hard concrete floor coverings and cement-resin floor coverings can be subjected to low to heavy load groups. Its thickness is reduced, it allows a larger surface to be covered without an expansion joint. Its result is smooth and without deformation.

Note: this type is regularly used for all types of wet rooms: cellar, laundry room, garage, balcony, terrace.

Adherent screeds consist of cement, aggregates and water, with or without additives or additions. It can be used for parking lots with a surface hardener and even tinted with different colors.

Floating Yokes

The Floating Screed is placed on the interposition layer which acts as an intermediary between the initial support of the part and the new surface. This layer consists of thermal insulation or a polyane film, which considerably reduces the energy losses of the house. Furthermore the floating screed remains mandatory when installing a heated floor. It therefore represents an additional asset which serves to thermally insulate all the premises. Its thickness and quality vary according to needs. It will be reinforced with a reinforcing mesh or fibers.

It can be cement-based or anhydrite-based.

Anhydrite screeds

Self-Leveling Liquid Screed

The Self-Leveling Liquid Screed is done by pouring. It provides better initial and final resistance, its thickness is reduced compared to the standard. It's installation is fast and the surface finish is perfect thanks to the sanding carried out by us after 7 days.

Note: this type should not be in contact with humidity such as cellar, laundry room or other.

Self-leveling leveling compound

Ultraplan

Self-leveling patch is a finishing method in construction and renovation. It consists in applying a coating in order to correct the various defects of the ground. The goal is to have a flat and clean floor before laying a floor covering.

Advantages:

  • Easy to use
  • Machine applicable, pumpable at distances over 100 meters
  • High adhesion to the substrate
  • Quick hardening and drying
  • Quick installation of the coating
  • Hardens without shrinkage

Scope:

  • Screed smoothing including with underfloor heating
  • Anhydrite screed smoothing
  • Smoothing of existing support such as slab, concrete, old tiling, natural stone.

We are of course at your disposal to advise you and help you choose the coating you need for your home.

Quick-drying screeds

Topcem

Topcem is a special hydraulic binder with normal setting. This screed dries in 24 hours and allows a quick coating. Allow 3 days before laying a tiling and 7 days for a parquet or plastic coating.

Advantages:

  • Time saving on installation times=final economy
  • Compensated shrinkage therefore significant reduction in screed veiling and risk of cracking.

Scope:

  • Glued or floating screed
  • Possibility of using underfloor heating
  • Indoor and / or outdoor screed
  • Jointly the same as a traditional cement screed
Mapecem

Mapecem is a special hydraulic binder with quick setting and drying.

Advantages:

  • Cures in 3 hours so allows the installation of a ceramic coating after 3 hours and the installation of parquet or plastic coating after 24 hours
  • Compensated shrinkage therefore significant reduction in screed veiling and risk of cracking.

Scope:

  • Glued or floating screed
  • Possibility of using underfloor heating
  • Indoor and / or outdoor screeds
  • Joint same as a traditional cement screed
  • Ideal for localized repairs in an industrial area
Dynamon SX 14

Admixture based on acrylic resins with strong water reduction.

Advantages:

  • High water-reducing superplasticizer, for concrete with low workability loss. Allows to obtain a strong reduction of water and a long maintenance of workability. Facilitates the pumping of concrete poor in fine elements.
  • Time saving of about 2 weeks for the installation of the covering.
  • Reduced mixing water which avoids the problems inherent in removal.
  • Increased final mechanical performance.

Scope:

  • Admixed cement-based screeds
  • Indoor and / or outdoor screeds
  • Ideal for industrial surfaces
  • JBefore all types of coatings including synthetic resins
