A resin floor smoothed with a trowel consists of a screening line of different gradations of quartz and specific additives, precisely composed of quartz grains of different sizes and specific additives. This composition and the combination with a high quality epoxy binder free of solvents and nonylphenol, allow to obtain a particularly durable floor finish, which can be subjected to heavy loads both mechanical and chemical. Floated floor coverings are available up to compressive strength values of 110 N / mm2.
Details such as plinths and weirs to drains and wells can be laid seamlessly in the ground. The floated epoxy coating exists in different versions, ranging from the purely industrial system to the extremely decorative system.
For the industrial version, as well as for the decorative version, the system is waterproof and can be applied in accordance with standard 281.
In the food industry, the coating can be applied in accordance with SIA 118.
The floor covering smoothed with a trowel is applied in layers with a minimum thickness of 5 mm and its roughness is adjustable.
Thanks to its level of wear resistance, high pressure resistance as well as its closed structure, an epoxy float floor covering is ideal in situations where there is a mechanical load and / or a load with heavy liquids.
Thanks to its properties, the coating finds its application among others in the food industry, the beverage industry and the chemical industry, metal processing and wet rooms such as company kitchens, premises washing facilities and sanitary areas.
Thanks to its aesthetic character in combination with the high wear resistance, the trowel-smoothed floor covering is also increasingly applied as a decorative floor finish in shops, offices, canteens , catering establishments, and others.
